About Me - Owen Thompson

I started flying around 11 years ago, and setup Skygods Paragliding in the summer of 2019.

I had travelled round Europe the summer before, specifically to find somewhere to live and provide XC trips for like-minded pilots. Drama ticked all the boxes for me - great weather, good potential XC flying for all abilities, and an enjoyable place to live.

In 2020 I travelled to the Sertao of Brazil, and discovered another paradise for free-flying. Since 2021 I've run tow trips there for pilots wanting to maximise their distance flying!

I'm passionate about providing other pilots with exactly what I wanted from XC holidays - comfortable accommodation, stress-free transport & retrieves, and above all - lots of flying!
